you have to modify the lights/wiring and move them around. don't know it comes in a kit or you just do it

don't do it, you'll get used to the horizontals, besides it shows that u have pushrods and not the modular engine

Bad Advice.
They bolt right in and they plug right in.
But you do need the connecting wire harness that comes w/the 97s.
The earlier connectors are different.

You just have to get the wiring harnesses from a 96+ Mustang and they will fit right in.

Everyone likes to bash the 96+ lights for some reason, but it's your car and at least your putting some MUSTANG lights on it instead of EURO'S or something.

did anyone notice that its his MOM's car.

i think its cool your doing this for her.

are you planning on painting the light black(not the lenses of course)?

but yea they will fit, but no they wont work properly without the tailight harness.

you can pick it up at a junkyard or ebay for like $50-60.

It's a direct bolt in but you will need an extra bulb socket on each side. There's a guy on Ebay that sells them and they generally go for $15 or something.

You will need to splice it into your existing wire harness. If you get it from the guy on Ebay he will have instructions on which wires to splice into. You do not need to buy an entire 96-98 wire harness.

You will need to cut the small bulb off i think it is a 194, and replace it with a socket for a 3157 bulb, or by the other bulb adapter things from ageclassic they are $40 there. You will need to cut the 194 bulb off no matter what unless you get the new harness for a 96-98 http://www.ageclassic.com/Merchant2...oduct_Code=055-ML-9495CONVER&Category_Code=06

What are you waiting for then? That's the best price you can pay for a part.
