Lightweight rims?

I dont think you will see a gain at all with lighter wheels with the exception of going to a slick and 15" welds like stangfreak mentioned. Pick what you think looks good and if your wooried about performance the ride on slicks and skinnies all day.

Hey man, go for it.
Check into some cheap @$$ steel rims from summitracing or something.
I'd suggest 15X7 or 8 in front, and
15X9 or 10 in rear.
Shoot, buy an extra set, most of those are like 30 bucks. Put slicks on one set and streets on another.
Less rotational mass is better than overall actual weight.

My replica Cobra R's weigh 21lbs each, at least that's what the box said. I would say that's about right, since they feel about the same weight as those big cat food bags from Walmart, without a tire of course.

oh yeah 03 chrome cobra rims with 275/40/17's weigh 56lbs a piece. i went with 15X4 prostars with some cheap 165/15 tires and 15X8's with 275/50/15 et street radials and i drive it on the street all the time, little slower around curves (especially with no front or rear swaybar lol) and you don't really wanna lock up the brakes with that little of a tire on there but other than that no problems. i also went from 220 miles to a tank to 270-280 with the lighter rims, NO BS!! rotational mass is your enemy.
