speratic idle , like goes up to 1300 down to 500 , then if im sitting at a light it likes to stall , what could be causeing this ,

What year of stang? Advice will vary for a FI vs carbed vehicle for instance.

its an 88 mustang gt , converted to maf , the egr an the rest of the smog has been taken out , i changed the fuel filter today , haven't touched the IAC yet , its a 306ci , e303 cam , trick flow tw street heads , trick flow intake , 76mm maf , 75mm tb , 24lb injectors , 1.6 rr , msd distributor , msd digital 6 box , blah blah. its been slowly going down hill , it started with stalling goings around right hand bends , then progressed to stalling at stop lights , dont know whats going on ,
