Hi, I just recently purchased a rust bucket 69 coupe as a first time restoration attempt. After decoding the data plate, it turns out to be a Limited 600 car. Does this car deserve more professional attention rather than my basic skill level work.?
Define rust bucket ? And your basic skills ? Trunk floor, quarters, floor pans ??? Its always been my personal experience that its never what you bargin for once you dive into it. Double your original estimate and quadruple your time frame. Rust is never just what you see.. Its always way up in there good like..... Very few people have the tools, equipment and skills to crack that nut and do it correctly and efficiently and come out the other side with a car agian.... I know ive given up before....
