i know there is at least 1 person on this forum that has rebuilt a rear end. im rebuilding it today and im just waiting for a response before i continue, lol. HELP!
For me clutch plate clutch plate clutch plate clutch till I run out of room. I reuse the best clutch disk from the old set and toss the extra plates. Play with the shims until it is as tight as possible. With the axles and C clips in you want no side play in the axles. It'll chatter and carry one for the first couple miles, but will stay tight much longer than the direction's setup.
