lincoln towncar cam

did the 85-90 lincoln towncar have a roller cam or not. i have a motor that has the roller lifters and a lincoln towncar cam and the 302 firing order.

yes it does. i used a 86 lincoln town car motor for my motor build. it might also have e6 heads on it as mine did.

the reason i am asking is because i got this motor from a wrecked car and bought it as a shortblock and put my stock rebuilt heads on it and it the rockers push the valves down when torqued down so i think the block has been milled or the cam is wrong, i got somw shims on the way now

well if you dont bring that cylinder to the base circle on the came it will definetly push the valve open. but if you have done that and it still pushes it open and keeps it open than you have a problem. im wondering if the pushrods were different on those cars
