Line Lock Wont Work

Hey guys just installed my hurst roll control and i cant get it to work. The brakes work but when you press the switch and hold it it wont keep the brakes engaged. Also you cant here the solenoid working when the car isn't running when you push the button. I wired it from the battery to the switch, from the switch to the solenoid, and from the solenoid to a ground. I didn't put the fuse in or the light that comes with it. Any ideas whats wrong?

yes i am pushing the brake and then hitting the button. Usually you can hear the solenoid when you hit the button with the motor off. The fuse is only incase you have a short. The light you dont need because it just tells you the line lock is engaged and it needs to be spliced in anyways. So neither off those 2 you need to complete the circuit.

A Line lock solenoid is the easiest electrical item made... All it needs is power and ground.. if you DO have that, and its not working, the solenoid is bad. I had a Jegs line lock and it was sooooo awesome... Got the tires super hot at the track, and wasted my tires on the street. lol
