It doesn't go on the intake silly. You take those green thingies and you drop everything into a big fart cannon and then - BLAM! - instant HP increase!

thanks squall for that useful advice.

perhaps i should be more explicit ... i have a 3" pvc pipe connecting my t/b to my c&l 80mm maf with a k&n filter. if i wanted to use this lightning maf instead, how would i connect it all together? there is nothing in my setup to bolt it to.

and the electronics are so close to the end with mounting plate, so if i ground off the mounting plate, there wouldn't be enough room to put a pipe clamp on there.

has anyone hooked up a lmaf like this to their car?

've seen some companies that have adapters for stuff just like that. If you got the tools, make one. trace out the face of the MAF, drill/cut accordingly, then weld a ring onto it, wala, instant adapter. good luck man, enjoy the KB, I do

Look how mine is hooked up. You need a pig tail adapter to hook up the LMAF to our cars. I just sold mine on Corral for $80 shipped with the pig tail. I wish I would have known you needed them.

Yeah, I think I've seen them on ebay.

I made an adaptor for the stock maf from pvc material and pvc pipe. It was just a 3/4 inch thick flat section of scrap I found somewhere with a hole for the pipe and holes for the maf.

The adaptors I saw on ebay weren't too expensive if I remember correctly.

thanks! the guy i'm buying it from is from the eastern shore. he's coming up to close the deal and he's "helping" me install it. (i'll actually be "helping" him, trying to stay out of his way, because he is the one who knows what he is doing, not me)

Sorry I was in a giddy mood and couldn't resist. I didn't look at the MAF closely. I was like- "holes." The screws go in there and thought you were just being sacastic. My bad

Thats what the stock MAFS are like. When I made my CAI back in the day I made a adapter out of some boat stuff i had layign around. With the vortech
I think their are adapters for it too and
I have an extra but now that I think of it, I dunno if that bracket if for the maf or something else.
