hey guys I'm looking to make things a little quieter. My problem is between 1,000-2,000 rpms the pitch of my exhaust is too much, it makes everything in your head rattle. What I have is 2.5 exhaust with magna flow magpaks, and 90 degree turndowns before the rear axle. The sound was fine when it exited out the rear of the car. I like the sound of the car and I don't want the exhaust to exitout the rear (I have a v6 rear facial now) or change the muffler. Will going to a 45 degree turn down also angeled 45 degress toward the rear tires make things quieter or should I just go for the full side exhaust? I like the look without any visible exhaust pipe, that why I did the turn downs. What is your guys take on this???????

Get some V6 (or 87-93 GT) style tailpipes that turndown under the rear bumper.

those turndowns and magnapacks are whats killin you . the packs are friggin loud in the first place, but then take away some of the resonent pipe and youve got LOUD. CHANGE OUT THE MUFFLERS AND DO WHAT MOSSBERG SAID (sorry just noticed the caps lock), buy a stock catback and dump the exhaust right before the bumper

Your exhaust sounds quiet compared to what my last mustang had.

I'm going to put it on this GT on thursday, see how I like it with no top.

It's an O/R Prochamber with dumped 1-chamber flows.

I ran packs with dumps for about 6mths. Just changed back to the full set-up. The car sounds so much better now. The pop is back and the sound "carries" farther according to friends.

Just run the axle over tubes and trim the back to use dumps.
