Locking gas cap ?

Oh sweet, thanx for the link mang, I'm gonna pick one of those up I think.

Hmmm doesn't show '03 Machs but it has '03 GT in the applications, I guess it'll work lol. I think my Mach has the same cap as my '02 GT did anyway.

Ok, I talked to my freind Jerry ( Ford tech @ Planet Ford)
He told me that all Ford/Lincoln/Mercury that is OBDII has a saftey valve/screen so gas won't leak out if the auto is on its side or turned over. He told me that you CAN'T syphon gas out of these cars.

but dan said he did it to his car..

around the same time as katrina, I heard people getting their tanks punctured :o. rather have them syphon the gas, than have a hole in my tank.

I dunno
Like I said, Ive never tried it myself. I sure if you keep fishing the hose in you might make it through...
Im just passing on the knowledge that has been passed on to me. But on the other hand a locking cap will keep ppl from putting sugar in your tank.

If there is a will, there is a way.....

contrary to popular belief, sugar in your gas tank will not cause damage. it cannot dissolve in gaoline to form a liquid solution that would solidify in your lines. that's what would **** it up, turning solid in the lines, but it can't dissolve in gas so nothing happens.
