Finally got my door panels back from the upholsterer the other day. Got my black armrests in the mail as well, got it all back in the car today. Looks pretty good over all. Only problem is the opening for the inside door handle are cut a little too big... I'll see what I can do with that, here's some pics...

Now all I need to do is get it all cleaned up. Next up: Gauges.

What do you think of the panels?

Looks much more slick. I especially like the e-brake boot; is it anything special?

Thanks a ton! They'd better be real nice for the price

I'm most likely gonna get one for the shifter & e-brake

They are totally worth it. Great quality stitching and geniune Italian leather. They're made and shipped over in Europe so shipping takes a little while.

Yea, my bad. I was looking at the wrong pricing. The Fox body stuff is very nicely priced for brand new custom leather. And this'll really liven up that area in my car, totally worth it. Thanks again for the tip.

Yep, no problem.

Mustang5L5--They are Corbeau GTS II's. Real nice seats, they keep a stockish appearance with a racing feel. I wanted them so I could use the stock seatbelt locations; didn't want racing belts thru the seats.

I don' usually like racing seats, but those look damn good. I have a black interior conversion as well, and definitely like the look of those

I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them. They aren't too flashy, but still look racey. And they are so comfortable. Got a good deal on them with CJ Pony during one of their 10% off sales.

I'd drive it. Something about an all-black interior just kinda makes me feel more surrounded and wrapped up in the car. I dunno, it's a weird feeling. I sit in my gray-and-black notch, and it's just a car; I sit in my buddy's all-black interior notch, and the car just seems to swallow you up. It somehow makes the car seem more roomy inside, especially in lower light - like the interior just goes on and on and on. Kind of a backwards version of what happens when you paint a room in a house a dark color, versus painting it white - an illusion of space.

Anyway, I do babble. Car looks schweet. Good luck trying not to burn the crap outta your hand on that shifter and e-brake handle, though. (I used to have that same shift knob, and nearly burned a scar of a 5-speed shift pattern into my palm.)

I'm not worried. It's not going to sit out in sunlight very long besides at car shows...

The seats look great! i agree it looks slick, looks like a compartment rather then an interior. Not a fan of the ac white face knobs but still looks great!

I felt compelled to get the white A/C faces to match the gauges in the cluster... It woulda bugged me if I didn't. haha Going to get some Autometers soon and mount them below the head unit.

Looks very nice! I like the micro-suede inserts too. Look forward to seeing it next year at CJs.
