Well, its been a long while since posting on here, after my e-bay 500HP stang blew up. But now I have to start asking questions, since the block with the nice hole in it is all but out of the car, and I have some money saved to start rebuilding. What I need to know is...how much boost can I run with my Procharger? And with a built motor how much horsepower can I make with it? Is it worth it to sell it and get twin turbos? Because thats what I was planning...until I seen an article in 5.0 with a 1600 HP procharged 06'. So really how much can I push with it...or should I do TT.? And also, well...first actually. I need the best block for my money. One that can EASILY withstand 850-900HP, at the wheels. One that isnt going to take a **** like my old one did. Thanks again guys, you all help alot with my decisions. :SNSign:

So after all you've been through so far, you've addressed the problem being you need to run more power? Maybe get a shortblock that can handle 800 and make 400-440 on it.

no, the problem is i need better parts. lol.

Maybe I should get a block that handles 1200 and run 800. I got used to 500 in a hurry. Got schooled by an 02' LS1 Camaro with 600RWHP...

I'd say mmr900 short block, and some good ported pi heads w/ cams and keep the procharger. What model is it? Remember the limiting factor on a 2v is the heads. If its a DD your not gonna need that much power. 500 for a dd is plenty. Build the suspension and it won't matter if you have the most power because you'll be getting more of what you have to the ground.

Uhh you better keep saving up because for that much power you going to spend A LOT of money. Your procharger wont get you to 800rwhp so your best bet would be turbos. Plus if that car is a DD I wouldn't want to make that much power. Not to mention that I never feel safe with street tires on my car now and I'm just making a little over 500rwhp.

Was your car making a true 500rwhp or was it guessed to be 500hp at the crank?

525 at the crank...456 at the wheels. Its not a DD. Hopefully getting an AWD TSI talon for that. I definitely need more than what I had to keep up with some of these LS1's around here. So theres no way I can make that much power with the Procharger? What heads should I get? I wanna get as much HP out of the motor before forced induction. Thanks again for the help guys

A p1sc won't make that power, you would most likely have to upgrade it. Not sure if the d1sc would cut it either. TSI's are pretty tits too. As long as its the 1st gen
