I keep hearing that long tube headers won't fit a convertible without K member alterations. Is this true? Or can I just get a set of MAC long tubes and install with no K member issues? I have an 03GT with no suspension mods.
They should fit right in but you will have to drop the k member, I have done this with my buddys 03 gt vert its just a pain but it can definatly be done without and alterations such as fab work or anything like that you just gotta jump into it but again its a pain just to do headers of course when arent long tubes a pain lol

I was planning on getting a shop to install anyway, so the pain will be theirs.
My plan is to get trickflow twisted wedge heads installed (about 390hp), and wanted to upgrade the exhaust at the same time.
Found ebay longtubes and wanted to buy. Then I heard they wouldn't fit without some kmember mods...... Guess I can follow my plan now.
