I'm wondering if it's possible to change my clutch just by taking the tranny loose and sliding it back some without removing the headers. If anyone has done a clutch change with the headers in place please let me know how it went and if you think it was a good idea.

nope atleast one side has to come off if not both , not sure yet , the hookers with the slip fit flanges are the only ones that clear the tranny .....

i've heard of it being done with them in there. but after doing my lt's i don't see how. if you loosen one side maybe, but with them in there ightened down, it would be tough to say the least

Yup, that's why I decided to change my clutch before installing my LTs....(approx 55K on my original clutch so I figured it wouln't hurt)

Oh plus, while I was at it, I went ahead and got myself an aluminum flywheel~!!!
