I have a 2002 GT and was wondering if anyone has installed longtubes on these cars without dropping the k-member and how long it took, any problems, etc. -thanks-

it can be done, but be preparred for a huge headache. when we did mine we dropped the k-member, it's not hard at all. it's just four bolts that hold the k-member in, then you need to take out two more for the steering rack & that's about it for that aspect. there is no way that i would attemt doing it with the k-member in, but that's just me  good luck with it though :nice:

dropping the k member is insane.. IT can be done it takes time and paitence but it can be done.

it's not that hard AT ALL. if you have two people it's a piece of cake. if you are doing it by your self, you just have to do a little ballet with the jack, but it's doable either way
