I bought a set of BBK longtubes used now I need to know what else I need to buy for the install. I know I need gaskets but do I also need O2 Simulators, and Oxygen Sensor Extension Harnesses? My car is a 2000 Mustang GT Automatic.

if you can solder, I would just extend the sensors and make the MIL eliminators yourself, you can save a lot of money. You also need gaskets, get the OEM motorcrafts (~100 a set) and get some heatshielding for your starter. In addition to these, you can also look at getting a set of poly motor mounts since you are in a good position to change them out.

Can you explain how to do this a little more? Also, would the stock bolts work with these Headers?

You only need to do ^ if you're going with a catless midpipe. And don't go with BBK X because it sounds like crap.

Stock bolts will work. Just a tip, after you put on the new headers, run your car for a few mins (it will be loud) then retighten the header bolts.

I used that writeup with great success. It's not difficult at all, more tedious than anything.

^^thank you very much, i think i'm ready to tackle this this weekend. just a few more questions, I need two capacitor's and resistor's right? I Can get these at any of the local parts stores? I'm also putting another tranny in, which should be done first taking out and putting in the new tranny or taking off and putting on the headers? Or does it really matter?

Sorry for all the questions just wanna be well prepared.

yup 1 capacitor and resistor for each o2 sensor. the part numbers provided are for radio shack.

since youre getting BBK headers, it's best to do the tranny first or else you'll have to remove the passenger side header to remove your old tranny.
