Hey all - I currently have aftermarket shorties on the car ( got for a steal on craigslist) and looking upgrade to some long tubes. I've been looking at the ceramic coated BBK's - as their one of the best prices I've come across. What types of dyno proven gains can be found with the addition on long tubes vs. those over my shorties im using now (I don't know what brand they are, greyish no boldly visible brand stamps on it).

Have you had it dyno'd with the LT's on? Also , if you took it into a shop for install, how much was the labor cost? Thanks!

wow - that is crazy cheap. I could have them coated here in town with Jet Hot (I think that's what it's called. Where did you see that price? $400 sounds very steep, I'm gonna call for estimates before I order any parts.

Are new motor mounts required? Mine is an '01 GT - I haven't heard anything of clearance issues. I also have a cat-less Prochamber, could they do some butchering on the front tubes to make it fit with the LT's or do I need a whole new mid pipe?

no motor mounts arent required, but when you right there its alot easier, and yes you can make the pro chamber fit

I have the bbk lt's and i love them. Mine arent coated though. Install for mine was 400, and they hacked up my stock h to fit because they were choads and affreaid to put my o/r x-pipe on there. Even with the hacked up stock pipe on it i still noticed nice gains, SOTP, but when i got the x on it was even better. Just make sure they do ha shatty job "modifying" you prochamber.
