I'm just curious about the benifits and differences between shorty and long tube headers.
I am under the impression that long tube is better for low end grunt and shortys are better for higher rpm grunt.

Someone fill me in, thanks.

You will get a bit more HP & TQ from the Long Tube Headers than the Shorty ones. This assumes you also replace the OEM Catalytic Converters with new free flowing ones, X or H pipe and good mufflers (Borla, JBA, MAC, Magnaflow, Bassanni, etc). From what I have read....LTHs gain 12-15 RWHP/TQ and SHHs gain 8-10 RWHP/TQ. Every little bit helps!

long tube = more power at the cost of low end torque
shorty is more power down low and easy to put on.
