Long tube ?

I have searched on this and am pretty much set on getting SLP longtubes becasue i have the slp mid pipe already. butwas wondering If there are any issues with the longtubes getting in the way of other stuff Or if their are any clearance issues that could be a problem oce they are in. People with SLP longtubes please let me know what you think of them

Yes, they are the biggest pain in the a$$ to do anything else to the car. The HP gain is not worth the money. Clutch jobs are nightmares, because they have to come back off. Even doing motor mounts is a joke.

I would leave your stock ones and use the money to save up and buy a blower. If you are set on doing headers I suggest mid lengths since you can get the trans out without removing them.

I want to stay NA for now because of reliability issues and Im just starting college. What would be better to do because I am in California (another reason against longtubes) I would like to do either VT stg 1 cams and shortys because I can get a really good deal on the shortys and install or Just do longtubes and stay at that for now. What do you guys think?

I gained nothing with SVO shorties on my ported headswap 98, dont bother with them. Anderson Motorsports made 320something with the mid length headers, but it was also on a built 2v with race ported PI's and cams.
