long tubes hitting frame??? ok to dent with hammer??

just got done installing my long tubes!!!! the power is awesome... and i think it solved my surge... BUT the passenger side does hit the frame... along with the h pipe rubbinb the cross member= a really ruff ride... is it ok to put a "lil" dent in one of the tubes to keep it from hitting??

im shure you could but you might screw the flow up

bbk's... just looked at my motor mounts, and the motor is sitting lop sided in the car... lets see what kinda damage i can do tonight...

i had to dent mine slightly to keep them from hitting my starter and there has been no problems that i can tell from it.

Has nothing to do with long tube's , but my h-pipe got dented trying to clear the entrance to a driveway about 2 years ago with no bad effects.

i dont think there will be a problme, as long as there still space in the tube and u dont make a huge dent in there i dont see a problem it might restrict just a little bit but nothing notice, just my opinion, ive never had experience or anything

new motor mounts..dunno if you should go poly, solid, or stock compound. maybe one of the resident experts can help with that.
