Long tubes

Hey, im thinking of switching over my equal length headers and bassani off road x-pipe for bbk ceramic long tubes with matching high flow h-pipe (dont wanna be caught with no cats here in Massachusetts). Now my question is will i loose n e power by doing this? sry if its kinda a newbie question

Yea you might lose some low end torque, but prolly not noticable that much since its geared. I would spend that money on a set of heads though since you already have a good exhaust set-up. I dont think longtubes will pick up enough power over what you have to justify the price.

I'd rather have L/T's than equal shorties... I disagree with the loss of any torque on a L/T setup. I am pretty sure the L/T will probably lend itself to more power since there are fewer bends when compared to the equal shory style. You might notice huge gains, but there is some to be had.

I'll be making the switch from unequal shorties to BBK L/T's + H-pipe this winter.
