longtube headers

are the longtube headers the same for an aod and 5 speed car? have an aod but will eventually do the 5 speed conversion.thinking about getting the longtubes now ,but will wait if they are not interchangeable.

I have heard that longtubes for an automatic will work on a 5-speed but not vice versa. Probably would depend on the brand of headers too...I'm sure there is someone out there with more experience on this issue.

yeah, hes pretty much right. if they fit on the aod, then they will work on the t5.....but not always the other way around. MAC will fit your bell housing. good choice on going longtubes to start, i wish i would have.
