Well i finally got the longtubes squeezed into the car.It was one of the longest and most difficult installs iv done, but I'm glad their done now. Here a clip of it running after we installed them. After this video we found the carb wasn't bolted down all the way causing a intake leak, and that was causing the off idle bog.

That's my buddy Steve, he was with me up in Moultrie.

Thanks for all the compliments guys, maybe all this hard work will pay off at the track soon. I'm waiting for my MSD RPM Module to get here so i can adjust my 2-Step a little bit better then before. It should be at the track next Wednesday or Friday. Ill keep ya posted.

I was think of just running some bullets with the turn downs or something, not real sure yet. It will be going to the track how it sits right now.

Anyone notice the new front tires and wheels?

I think im going to go this Wednesday and maybe even Friday. Not real sure yet, i have to see whats going on at work and what time i get out before i know if i can make it or not. Id be happy to make a 12 second pass without breaking anything, seems like everytime i make an 11 second pass my tranny breaks. This thing is a monster though with the new trans, converter and headers. I think she is going to do pretty good, unless it runs out of gear or something breaks again. I wont be sprayin the nitrous for a while, i want to get the suspension tuned really good before i go sprayin it.

And for the mini-bike i actually crashed it into a dumpster. We ended up putting one of my old Quarter Midget race motors on it, Honda GX160 making probably 10+ HP. The new project is the shifter kart with the gsxr-600 motor on it. Should be fun!

If i make it in the tens, it will be one of the coolest things ever. Iv been waiting so long to make a good pass in this thing, and it seems stuff just keeps going wrong. Tens have been my goal since i built the car and iv yet to accomplish that. Iv been soooooo close 11.20 is real damn close, but not close enough. Im hoping sometime this week i can meet and maybe exceed my goals.

PS: Check out my new teaser video of my new combo, just me messing around at my shop with the new setup.

Well I guess I have to post in both threads. I did notice the wheels. That's one of my favorite setups and will hopefully be on my car someday.

Just curious as to why you're using a 2 step with a transbrake?

The reason im using the 2-step is so i know that im leaving at the same RPM everytime. Also I can tune the launch better to what the cars doing, sometimes you want to launch the car at a lower rpm then you stall at to shock the suspension to help it hook better. Actually i think most everyone usually runs a 2 step with a transbrake.

Yea, I see it done a lot more now than in the past. Was just wondering the theory behind it and now feel like a dumbass for not thinking of that. Makes a lot of sense.
