My friend has a 92 GT and was thinking about getting some longtube headers, his questions were, what is good? Also are there anyproblems with longetubes over shorties?

Definatley go with BBK headers, if hes got the cash get ceramic coated. BBK will be the easiest to install! Definatley get the BBK mid pipe also.

Is your friends car an auto or manual...if it is an auto BBK won't fit...but Mac sells their longtubes and they work with the auto and manual...but if it is a manual go BBK unless you want to spend a few hundred more on Bassani...

Longtubes can be come a hassle on some cars about ground clearance over speedbumps...and dips in the road...etc...my friend has longtubes on his 90 GT and they will scrap in certain places...just tell him to be careful...

Your friend is making a good choice about Longtubes

Longtubes are alot better than shorties for sound and power. I have MAC longtubes and a custom o/r x-pipe. The sound and power is alot better than my old shorties. The headers fit awsome. Some people have problems with MAC but I didn't. I love them.

Tell your buddy to get the LTs.
