Look at this 67 Fastback , 67 Coupe , and 70 Mach I found in the woods...

Yall barr in mind I do live in Nawth Cayolinah ..... I was driving along , when what did me little peepers see, but the front of a 67 through a bunch of trees. I circled around, went down a dirt driveway to a trailer , and out by the barn were these 3. The look in bad shape. So Im talking to Bubba, who owns them. Seems the coupe has been in the family since new, but he got the fastback in the mid 80s. Still has the 289 in it. The blue 70 in the back is up on blocks, torn apart, no doors, parted out , and had a family of possums living in it.

i wouldn't give up on the ol' girl so fast.. sure shes in rough shape right now, but whats not to say with a lot of TLC that she couldn't be beautiful again (not that shes not already). its needs a lot of work, sure, but its a hell of a lot better than when it was raw steel being molded. shouldn't give up that easy. i forget whose sig this was from, but i tend to live by it now "If it was easy, everyone would be doing it."

Sounds kindof like what my cousin found several years ago. Was driving down a back road i belive near huey town, AL and saw a fastback in a field with a small tree growing inisde it. Went and looked at it and it happend to be a Hertz GT350. He offered the guy 1 grand for it. Which made the owner wonder why someone would want that heap for 1 grand. Long story short guy did research and ended up getting over 6 grand for it to someone with the cash. Moral of the story don't offer much if you ever run into such a find like that.

Monk, I called the guy, he wants 900 for it . It has a 289 in there ( I think). Its a small block, and has 289 callouts, soooo reasonable deduction tells me.... Id say its worth 900. Its pretty dang rough, but , it is a fastback.
