Just got my new AFR 165 heads yesterday. I plan on installing these in the next two weeks or so.

Bad Ass dude. You'll definately notice a big difference.

Nope, I have a tubular GT-40 intake on my car now. I just haven't undated my sig saying that I have an intake.

You'll need a better intake like a Holley or Trick Flow Track Heat to match. Those are awesome heads.

The gt-40 tubular is a pretty good intake. I think he'll be fine.

Thanks everyone. I am going to run the GT-40 for now and see how it does. I personally think it will be fine with the heads beacause they are designed to make good mid-range power and that is where the GT-40 is at its best. When I do a rebuild, I plan on having T-Moss port the lower anyway. I have seen alot of cars with a GT-40 intake running in the 10's, so even though they are old technology, they can still get the job done.
