Your link is off....gotta copy and paste to get it in.

Looks like you did a good job though. Why didn't you stick an aftermarket unit in there?

Woops. Didn't check it.

I wanted to keep the factory look and get a cd changer. Being a convertible, there is no room for a changer.

finally someone did it. Can you give alittle bit of details please. I know you can buy the center consul parts easily but how did you connect the 01+ changer to the 99 harness. (did you just solder to the back of the unit?)

Thanks

Serkan

Well, I'm still in the process of getting this going. I am having a problem with the mid-bass sound. I have to do some more messing around with it. I will give all the details when I figure it out.

If anyone with a '01+ changer can give me some info. The small connector with 6 wires coming out (mid-bass signal). Where does it go exactly? does it run directly into the high pass amp (below radio)? or does it run directly into the harness to the back 2 amps. On the '00's, The mid-bass signal to the rear amps is split out by the high pass amp. If you hook this up the way you think you would, the mid-bass is weak and the highs are overpowering. I need to know where those wires go in a factory '01+ setup.

Thanks
