I originally ordered the Prochamber but I got a deal on this I couldn't refuse.
Any tips on the install other than changing out the driver side manifold bolts?
It goes in first thing in the morning....need time for car to cool off tonight.
Everything is straight forward except passenger side manifold. You need a swivel and small hands to get in there. plus the bolts are probally tight as hell.
The drivers side is a piece of cake, but the passenger will require some swivels and some well placed extensions.
You're going to want to hose down the bolts with some thread penetrate and let it sit for a bit, then have at it.
USE 6 PT SOCKETS ONLY .
I didn't have a 15mm 6pt handy, but saw a 12pt and thought what the heck. Started to strip the crap out of one of the manifold bolts with just a simple turn and had to replace it.
Needless to say, I've bagged up all my 12pt sockets and hid them. =P
Taking the stock H pipe off is the hardest part, but once you get to installing it's a breeze since there is no cat in the way to clutter the work area. Just make sure you have the exhaust gaskets from the stock H pipe on your new mid pipe before putting it on.
Make sure its all torque down to spec ... exhaust leaks are can be rather annoying / embarrassing sound.

I did the passenger's side NO PROBLEM without a 3/8s Ujoint. My secret? a 10 inch 3/8s extension, it was PERFECT, and i cant recommend it more. Oh and good lighting helps too. There's really not much too it. I did spray some bolt loosener, but i dont think it helped any. Make sure you change out the gasket on the passenger's side, and install the down pipe correctly to the manifold on the driver's side, because it's an ugly ball joint with no gasket... and it can and WILL leak if it's not tightened properly. Just becareful not to tighten it TOO MUCH because you dont want to warp the flanges, either. Just use common sense!

Even if it only has 2,000 miles on it the heat from the exhaust(especially at the manifolds) will expand the bolts and can sometimes make them a PITA to get loose. If so, WD-40 and air tools will come in handy.
