I'm not being an a-hole... But i don't think you know what car you want do you? Judging by your "Threads started" page, you've considered a notch, lx hatch, lx ttop, gt ttop. You don't have a pref. on which interior/exterior colors you want either. Dude you need some standards. I really hope you don't just your women in the same way You've talked back and forth about which to buy... auto or 5 speed. I bet you still don't know which one you want do you? lol. And you've been postin "hows this car look" threads since July. Yet, you still don't have a stang. I really think you need to sit down and figure out what you want and stick to it. You keep changing your idea of what you want. Its nuts. You shouldn't be worried about what we think. Its your car man, not ours.

considering that my interior is red and it does have t-tops (everyone can see inside) i may as well match it.

but eventually i want to do a black interior and smoked lights.
black and white are sooo sexy together.

88's were the LAST t-tops they made...which were leftover from 87's...I'd ****** it up if I were you too.

Congrats!

Id just stick with the red interior.
I might actually be one of the few people on this site that likes the red interior.

Agreed... I'm not a fan of the red interior but I think you should leave it alone. Especially since not a lot of people have it anymore by choice.

I never really had a preference on body styles because i love all foxes, and im sure i could make what i got good.

Yeah... i did want 5-speed but i still dont know stick and well, i couldent pass this up and its a bit late now (no regrets though). Im still planning on doing a conversion eventually.

Im not worried about what you think. Its just that i dont know if a car was worth it or not, sorry if i bothered you.

Your right though im not very good with cars yet. I dident get the mechanic dad, I got a lawyer.

Il just have to buy some books and figure it out myself.

Thanks for the help though guys.. i would bought some nasty crap if it wasent for you all.

Go with the 88 with t-tops.. it looks like a nice car and stock for the most part. I prefer 5 spd, but thats my opinion. When I was looking for another mustang I didnt have my mind set on a certain body style.

I looked at this 1987 Gt vert and had to have it. And now its is my 7th mustang,
6th fox body and I love it.

Good luck with the car, they are easy to work on and you will have a blast with it. Plus 88's with t-tops are a rare find so keep it clean. I still miss my 88 Gt with t-tops.. I would buy it back in a minute!!!

mine's kind of growing on me. I have added a lot of black inside, so it's not nearly so harsh anymore. i kinda like the red now. I like the '2-tone' black on red stock stuff, but the solid red was just too much. i should throw some pics up of how it looks now. it really isn't that bad

When I got my 87 Gt vert the previous owner did the same things. Swapping out some of the red and white interior with black. There are all new black door panels, seats F&B, carpet, floor mats and rear panels. I want to finish it up with a few more black pieces and it will be a minimal 2 tone look.

That t-top for sale in the Corral look nice, little ricey for my taste. More muscle/less mitsu..
