Looking at hoods for my 2005 GT convertible, want to put on hood that has ram air. Looking at Cervinis Concept Ram Air hood, but dont know much about fiberglass hoods. Heard good things about Cervinis, can someone shed some light on the quality of Cervinis or other brands of better quality. Will be adding CAI with tune in future.

I have Cervini's Ram Air hood on my car and the body shop DID NOT have to do any extra block sanding or whatever to make it fit correctly. They also said that it was the nicest looking fiberglass hood that they've painted that has turned out so well.

Cervinis is top quality. Little to no prep required for any of their products. You won't find better quality in glass or poly parts for Mustangs.

My Cobra R hood on my 01 is a Cervini and the body shop said the same thing about my hood. The best they have ever seen. I am more than happy with it.

None whatsoever with mine. It was painted just like the top and looks equally as nice. I was kind of curious as to how it was going to look without the hood liner, but it looks great!

yeah - mine died shortly after I bought the car, it was still under warranty but I couldnt get to the dealer. I had just put the light bar on and thought it was shorting, rewired and still battery died. So I just replaced it...no problems after that.

Well the Saleen hood fits cars with Saleen blowers obviously but I don't want that one, heh. And I don't have a Saleen.
