Keep in mind the blowzilla is the bigger supercharger with the intercooler. The one for the 96-98 cobra is the smaller one, and does not include an intercooler. As stated above, this kit is not as well engineered then the rest of the KB line-up, this is why the numbers are not as good. The new cobra can also push more boost safely because of forged internals, and supporting hardware that came stock such as big fuel pump.

i didnt realize that KB didnt make a blowzilla for the 96-98s.

Faster than a stock 03/04 cobra, yeah. Remember though, those 03/04 Cobras are absolute MONSTERS!

I've heard of a couple different people trying to fit the blowzilla's on the 96-98 set up. I don't think many of them worked out too well.

One thing that is nice about the KB set up is that you don't have to worry about replacing alot of parts on the car because the KB's power is within safe limits of the of the engine, transmission, etc.. Guys with the Centrifrugals can end up destroying their engines from trying to push too much power through. Centris will make more power though and if you intend to drag race I would suggest that or a turbo. The KB kit is an AWESOME street blower though (like I said, I can't wait to get one).

I am with you on that one SVT.....It sounds like the KB is the safest way to go, and will still get you past most people in the street. I have one more question that is pretty important to me. 98 Cobra with the KB,gears, and K&N charger vs a stock Z06? Does the Cobra have a chance?
