looking for 5.0 jedi in boise

Hi, looking for someone in or near boise, I have an 89 ssp that I just finished, trying for the last three days to get this damn thing to start with no luck, I have read every thread on timing and distributor install and tried everything I had it burping for a second now I am back to zero. God this is frustrating, any who I would love love love some friggen help. Thank you.

getting fuel I take it? check the relay under the seat and the EEC relay right above the ECU. make sure you can here them click when you turn the key on, you should be able to hear the pump prime too.

Thank you for the reply Mr Matt,
I got it started by feathering the gas, now when I lift my foot off the gas peddle I here a horrible clanking from the bell housing, even though the trany clutch and bearings are all new.

ok, thats a new one for me,... are you sure it coming from that area? Is there some "spare parts" going around for the ride in there? I can't think of anything it'd be at the moment,...

Ed at Wolf Performance did some base tunes for my tweecer. I am sure the noise is coming from the bell. It only makes that noise when I take my foot off the clutch peddle. Looks like I will have to pull the trany which sucks, I was so proud of myself for for getting this thing together with no help, i guess now it would have been wise to have a pro do it.

I've had worse problems just show up and go away, just keep you head in it.
