I bought my threw EBAY, for $2000 just 5 miles away

I bought my threw Ebay, for just $2000. the guy was located just 5 miles from my house. It wasn't my first choice but the Engine and Transmission where freshly rebuilt. He had spent $7000 on the car and ran out of money... I offered him 1000 but we setteled for 2000, "he needed money bad"

Check out my car now after spending about $6000 more, the first page is the car now, and the second page is what I bought from the guy on Ebay. There is so much usefull information out there, "on sites like this one"; that anybody with a little dedication could build a great running car, with little money.

I gotta ask...what is the "D" code...4v+?

As far as value in the engine codes go...
Any big block gets a nice price bump, a "special" big block like a cobra-jet or boss (duh) gets a REAL big bump. Small blocks are all roughly the same value except for the K, F or G which are big bonuses as well. The I6 codes are at the bottom.

4-barrel, low-compression (or "not high-compression," depending on your perspective)

look for a good body... the engine and tranny are cheap compared to rust/paing/body repair. You can probably get a late model... guess later model now adays 5.0 and T5 for pretty cheap and drop that in in the worse case. On the chart the 428cj in 69 and 70 are suppose to be a Q code. Maybe its just showing up as an O for me.
