I am looking for a good shop in Portland to do a large amount of drive train work on my '67 Cougar. I have had this car for over half of my life, the car is perfect to me in every way except its performance/ride: the engine/transmission/rear end/brakes are all sub par (they are stock). I am trying to find a family owned local company to build up a 289/302 and T5 transmission for me, install, while also restoring the engine compartment, putting in an appropriate rear end, and putting in disc brakes all the way around. Large project. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated, as I am not from Portland, nor are my mechanical skills good for anything but putting in an interior, and buffing the paint and chrome.
