Someone had one for sale... I lost my info on that.

I'm putting in a T5 into my 67. I still have the 8" rear end.

I got quoted $175 to get my steel shaft shortend.... sounds expensive.

So I'm looking for an aluminum one.

I called Mustangs Plus and the guy on the phone sounded completely lost. Especially when I asked him if it could be purchased without the T5 yoke.. because I already have one... and would like to save myself $80.

Where have you gotten yours from?? How long was it? etc, etc...

thanks! :)

I got my alum driveshaft from www.streetortrack.com I ordered it Tuesday and got it Wednesday, that's probably a little fast but I'm not complaining.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by coming with yoke. (slip yoke, Third member yoke?) Mine came with ujoints included but no yokes.

What is a good price to get it shortened and balanced?
I might need to do it to mine also..
anyone know? $175.00 does sound high

It surprised me too. Maybe he was new?

The part about the yoke really threw him off....
Nope. He wasn't new. He ran it with a different yoke than you would run and couldn't tell you specifically if it would fit yours. He had it mated to an AOD. You can't find them for 175 bux. Unless maybe a junkyard, plus shortening and balancing. He just sold it. I got him the driveshaft for 175 and the place where I got it has gone up too because of the metal price hike.
