are there any heads out there that are better than ported stock heads but are less money than aluminum ones?

GT-40 heads are a good set. They came on the 93 cobra and I think the 5.0 explorers. I have read on here that you can find them at a junkyard for fairly cheap. Ebay has them all the time also. Good luck with the pick

how about those rousch heads. they are cast iron and are cheaper than aluminum. look in summit.

Take yours to auto zone for a core and get some GT-40's as a stock replacement for like $300 or 400. Just call them and ask for 40's for a Cobra.

hey 94sc50 it's nice to see someone from my area. that autozone gt-40 thing works around here? i'd be willing to try. i'm torn now because i just found a place to get brand new aluminum gt40 y303's for $700...PB
