Looking for information on 17'' wheels

I recently ordered a 2011 GT convertible with the Brembo package. As it is taking a while to get the car, I was wondering if anyone tried to fit smaller wheels on the car. It would make it easier to fit winter tires. I understand it might difficult with the Brembo package.

unfortunately with the size of the Brembo rotors and calipers you're not likely to get 18s on there let alone 17"

GT500 wheels will fit (18's). The brake setup is exactly the same.
