Congrats! Looks like a nice project that you can drive and play with at the same time. I love 86's but I'm biased

I'm with almost everyone on this post. Runs strong? Really. You mean ran strong? Why did it stop running strong. It's going to boil down to this. How big of a project do you want and how deep are your pockets. As that 86 you posted, I'd consider new motor, tranny, suspension work, is the interior complete, axles good condition, paint and body work, and all the little things that go along with building one of these cars correctly. Are you going for a show car look or are you going for a weekend driver. It's all in how much YOU have to spend.
I would have loved a project but don't have the time nor the amount of money I would need to spend to make it into what I want. So I BOUGHT my car, and then made it mine, changed the wheels, hood, complete interior swap and minor motor bolt on's.

Are the pics showing upside down still? They were flipping when I first tried to upload them, but I thought I had it worked out.

Oh, and an update on the car in the original post? It ended up lowered to $1300 OBO and must have sold shortly after as the post got deleted.
