I was sold on this car back in December of 2003, and counted the days until I could order it in May of 2004. Up until I ordered, I figured that Silver was the color for me. A couple weeks before I ordered, I switched to Mineral Grey (MG). What convinced me was pictures of the 2001 models with this color. The salesman showed me an Explorer with MG, and it was nice but just okay. I took delivery of my 2005 GT (MG) in October. To me, it looks nothing like the color on the Explorer. The color is beautiful, and I would not change it for the world. It is classy, and everyone that has seen it compliments me on how nice it looks. You can't go wrong with it. I am not saying that the Silver color is not beautiful, it surely is. Good luck to you !
