Looking for some help on wiring Please help out!!!

OK got a new ? I have an AOD with the O/D electrically activated. I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to turn it on and off via the on/off switch on my streering wheel that was used for the cruise control. the cruise control is long gone.

It's going to take some info about the unit you're using and year of stang to get some help.

Do you need a momentary switch or toggled?

If nothing else you can use a steering wheel button as an input to a relay or two to accomplish what you desire. It'd be kind of Rube Goldberg-ish but would work.

Once you get the wiring information you could just put a toggle switch in the circuit to enable the circuit or disable the circuit. I wouldn't go to complex if you don't have to.
