I think the major problem that everyone is having with it, is that the "excessive force" in question was committed after she was placed in custody. Had it been before the fact, it may not have raised so many eyebrows, but since it's obvious that the officers were lashing out based on their emotional state, which is obviously a huge no-no......things could get sticky.
