when i did my head/cam swap, i must have unhooked this ground from something. i just found it the other day, and i don't know where it belongs. one end is fixed to the fender in the first pic. the other end is not where it is supposed to be. anyone know where this should go or feel like looking on their car for me??

It goes to the front stud on the drivers side motor mount. I did mine a couple weeks ago.

It's a flat ground strap about 1/4" - 3/8" wide and flat with a plastic heat shrink covering, right?

my stock oil pressure gauge had been on the fritz. it would read high values, different levels above normal each time i started the car. well, i hooked up the ground wire, and guess what? back to normal. now the needle just sits right in the center, the way a dummy gauge should read!!

thanks again blksn955.o and rick!

My guages did the same to me, and my fan would not turn on causing even more heat issues, as my 180 also causes it to heat up alittle.

Glad you got it sorted out. its one of those stupid little things that just mess your whole day up.
