Looking for suggestions for an adhesive to reattach the plastic trim pieces (ground effects) to my 98 GT. These are the Classic Design Concepts side exit exhaust pieces made of poly-urea. http://www.classicdesignconcepts.co...isplay/464.html
I've emailed CDC...waiting for a reply. This system was on the car when I bought it last month (in fact, it was dealer installed according to the original owner) and the sound is awesome with a Bassani X-pipe with hi-flo cats plus they look sharp too IMHO. The trim pieces seem to have been originally installed using some type of adhesive applied with a calking gun. I bought 3M automotive mounting tape for trim panels and it seemed very secure at first but after a couple of weeks it let go. Any ideas would be appreciated

your link was broken ( http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com/catalog/itemdisplay/464.html )... and as far as getting them to stick, i used this stuff called ready welder to attach the molding strips on my explorer and that has lasted forever. It gets gooey though, and you have to let it dry a little before you stick it on, so just read the directions carefully. I made that mistake and it was a real pain in the ass.
