loose/sensitive steering

in my 88 mustang lx my steering is good but real easy and loose if you know what i talking about any suggestions on how to improve it make it stiffer

Sounds like your rag joint is worn out...replace it if it is.

Yep. Worn out rag joint. Replace it with HELP! brand part #31000. It is $8 and available at Advance Auto in the HELP! section. If the factory rag joint is still there, you will have to grind out or drill out a rivet.
