I was thinkin about gettin rid of my 40 series flowmasters for the bassani bx cat back. What do yall think about this and what should I expect as far as sound and performance over the flows. I have a 99 cobra.
You are making a smart move. I ditched my flows sometime back because of the constant droning. I put on the BX catback about 2 weeks ago and let me tell you it sounds soooo much better. There is much more muscular tone and absouletly zero drone. It was also very easy to install. Good choice on getting it.
I have had the stainless steel Bassani catback on my cobra for a while and really liked the deep tone.
I just installed the MRT catted h-pipe on Friday and it really sounds awesome now. While making the exhaust louder, it added a much deeper tone, more of a muscle car sound.
If you are looking for the deep tone of the muscle cars from the 60's and 70's this is the setup you are looking for.
