A guy from our local forums works for Firestone...he said I could come by and he would get them off FREE
I will look for the code first, and try a dealer..then Ill go there secondly. Hopefully, Ill be ok for the next week.

RC...how did you loose it? where do you usually keep it? I always keep mine in my ashtray, I wouldent want to go through this hell if I lost mine.

PS: come to think of it I have a diffrent one now b/c I have a diffrfent set of lug nuts then the stock ones. Is the one you need the one that orginailly came w/ the car? Are they car specific or model specific b/c Id give you my old one if it worked and if its the one you needed.

I had a flat...Gave the tire to my mechanic to patch. He brought it back and I put it on in my garage with an impact gun.

The last thing I remember was tightening the lugs in the "crossing" pattern then taking the car for a test drive (on MONDAY) Wednesday, when I was cleaning the garage, I realized: "I dont remember putting the lock away after tightening the lug" ..I couldnt find it. I think I may have left it on the lug when I took the car for a drive.

This is all I can remember

no! don't break/strip any tools!

just take it to the local used tire shop, yes used they charge like 20.00 and takes like 5 mins, as opposed to les schwab (60.00 and 3 hours)

have the pro do it and when you take it to him have a new set of lug nuts with a new key ready to bolt on

thats what i did with my old gt vert.... what kind of mofo sells a car with locking lugs on FUGLY turbines, and no key for them?!?!? LOL

Just grab a socket that wont quite slip over the lock and gently hammer it on. It worked to take 2 locks off the back of 81 Mustang my friend los the key for.

And we didnt damage anything.

And my local autoparts store sells a kit for just such an emergency so depends on how much you want to spend.
