lots of trouble codes

my car is pulling a lot of different codes
5284 Oil Pressure Switch Failure
9318 Battery voltage low
D262 Missing SCP message.
D043 SCP Invalid or missing data for Traction Control
D147 SCP Invalid or missing data for vehicle security

new oil pressure switch and new optima battery installed less than a month ago. anyone know whats going on?

Is your CEL on? That sounds like HEC diagnostics, which mean basically jack squat unless you have a CEL, or a OBD-2 code stored. Almost every person I've ever heard about who ran the HEC diagnostics got the oil pressure code.

I 2nd that...If you pull HEC codes it will always show 5284, but if you watch the voltage you will see that the switch is working....as far as the traction control, do you have a tune that turns it off? If so, that is the reason for those codes.

I have a question, what codes on the OBD II test would cause you to fail a emissions test? N.C. new testing not Calli

do you have the printout from the test? It could be as simple as the computer having been reset and not enough drive cycle.

no print out. i just pulled the codes from the instrument cluster

as far a NC inspections go. unless your check engine light is on your good in most countys. some use the exhaust test other counties (like mine) just go by the CEL.
