I've had the magna flow cat back on for I while. Just installed a Basanni off road X-pipe and WOW!! It is loud !! But cool as hell. I would not recomend this for a daily driver. But my car is a weekend toy and it's just what I've been looking for. Now to save up for the pulley and Diablo programer.

Damn, that sounds sweet. I am used to loud motors, me and my buddy built a 66 Mustang Coupe, 302 (for now) with open headers straight piped to side exit. Its so loud. Do you think with a Magna catback, BBK H-pipe, & dual Catcos on my 96 snake will be loud? obviously not as loud as the 66 coupe, but so that when it starts I have to get a towel to wipe up with?....... too far?

It always baffles me how everyone these days can get away with an offroad x-pipe or h-pipe. How do you manage to pull it off? I have a bassani high flow x-pipe with flowmaster mufflers on my Cobra and boy is it loud. I have heard horror stories of people getting pulled over and having their cars impounded and fined big time for not haveing any cats.

if you live in a non-emissions state like here in Indiana you would run no cats. Through 2 mustangs and my third coming tomarrow (cha-ching) i have never had cats and this has been for 7 years i have never once been pulled over for it. Hell i got pulled over for 55 in a 30 and this is no s--t when the cop handed me my ticket he told me that you have got a great looking and great sounding car but save those speeds for the higways.

I know what you mean, just put a bassani x-pipe with my borla stingers, talk about loud, love the idle and cruzin sound. The only thing I miss is the dominating whine of my blower with a 2.76 pulley.
