Loudest cat back with stock H Pipe

I am going to be re-installing my stock H Pipe and was wondering what cat back will be the loudest with that set up. I currently have a Flowmaster American Thunder set up on the car. I have a feeling that this setup wont be all that loud with the stock pipe.

Latley there has been a crap load of exhaust threads.. Search for Borla Stinger (Sound Clip On My Site), MagnaFlow, SpinTech, MAC, SLP..

I guess exhaust is on everyone's mind this month. Change the H-pipe first and then see how you like your American Thunder Catback. You can always buy some Spintechs or One Chamber Flows and have a muffler shop weld them to your current setup...although they will have to add pipe to make up for the difference in muffler length...the 40s are longer than the Spintechs and the 1 chamber flows. My 2 cents.

Yes, everyone has their own preference. But if you want loud... go with SLP.

If you want just pure loudness get SLP I think the SLP sounds like crap but it is definetely loud. Flowmaster, MAC and Borla =

Yeah, I dont really want loud crap sound. I guess I should have said loudest good sounding exhaust. i am partial to Flows, but am really looking for something to compensate for the stock H Pipe being so quiet, plus if any of these exhausts can give some added oomph over my American Thunder that would be great. I just found out that I am going to need to remove my timing adjuster to pass smog, so ther goes some more HP and money down the toilet.

My Borla Stingers are pretty damn loud. When you're cruising, it's not that loud, but when you get on it DAMN!

Well since noone really represented my xhaust... go with MAGNAPACKS!
Sounds badass and is pretty damn loud!... my GF tells me my car is too loud in front of her house when i'm simply parking at night (and thats TRYING my best to be quiet LOL)

Oh you want good sounding exhaust. Now this is going somewhere. Well one guy says SLP sounds like crap and I think its the best sounding exhaust I have ever heard. I don't think its even that loud with the stock midpipe.

Flowmaster 1-chambers = loud crap sound

I would go with Spintech Pro-Streets (not Sportsmans). They should give you all the sound that you'll ever want.

Bassani sounds good. I'm getting that cat-back installed this week. What's cool is that its sound is adjustable. Just remove the tailpipe baffles to make it louder.

spintechs will wake the dead. i always say that because it is true. i ran them on my 5.0 for over a year and the dead has awaken i ran them with O/R pipes and high flow cats, both sound awesome. i recommend that if u get spintechs to use with a stock H-pipe, get the ones that work with cats. partshopper has 2 1/4 weld in spintechs that work with cats. spintechs were meant to be used with O/R pipes.
magnapacks are also awesome, i heard some on a stang and they are mean! i am gonna get some weld-in spintechs. i cannot mod my car to death cuz of the wife so all i can do is intake/exhaust/gears.

The difference wtih the Spintechs is that IMHO they have a nice tone. The 1-chamber Flows are just loud like a farm truck.
