Just out of curiosity, which s/c is the loudest of all the centri's? There is another thread talking about the 2 Vortech's and I know that those V1's whistle pretty bad at idle. Just wanted to see what you guys have experienced.... v1, novi 2000, ati... etc.

And on the flip side, which ones are the quietest (besides powerdyne)

I'm gonna put my vote for an ATI Procharger D1SC as loudest again.

I think my S-trim (not SQ) is way louder than a procharger

it kinda depends on what it's on tho, although the t-trim is close, and in some instances is louder

funny how a little P1-2 can sound so loud eh?? LOL the race bypass helps at idle since it moves alot of air but surprizingly the blower is so loud I can't hide it if I want to.. on the street people randomly pull up and ask me "dude is that car blown" and I just have to laugh some...

You have to have the right ATI for loud. It's gotta be the D1SC. Or, you could go with a good ol' BDI 6-71 blower and be different.

Big Block with 6-71 Blower

Now THAT'S what a car should sound like.

T trim on a stock motor is lazy as hell and won't make the kind of peak HP you would want and the average power is just as bad..same thing with a D1... I would put my blower up against any stock motor D1 and probably slaughter it in average HP and might even beat it in peak HP as well...

Prochargers are probably the loudest, here's a video of a coupe with an F2 on it.
